At Life Care Center of Casper, residents are – and have always been – our highest priority.

As of the morning of Jan. 11, here is the latest regarding COVID-19 in our facility:

  • Cumulatively, 61 residents have tested positive.
  • 19 of those residents have recovered.
  • 26 residents are currently on our COVID-19 unit.
  • 15 residents who tested positive have passed away. Our heartfelt condolences go out to their family and friends.
  • 1 resident who tested positive for COVID-19 is currently in the hospital.
  • Cumulatively, we have had 57 associates test positive for COVID-19.
  • 43 of these associates have recovered and returned to work.
  • 14 associates are currently at home recovering.

We are testing residents and staff members twice a week, and our residents are monitored multiple times a day and night for any symptoms or concerns. Every associate is also screened when they arrive for work and when they leave, including checking temperature and monitoring for any symptoms or concerns.

We have been and will continue to follow all CMS, CDC and state and local health department guidelines concerning COVID-19. These guidelines include restrictions on the entrance of visitors, family members and vendors.

Although visitation remains restricted, we're happy to coordinate phone calls, video chats or window visits. We are staying in consistent communication with the families of our residents, and we always welcome their questions and contact.

We continue to work in partnership with the our local and state health departments and will follow the guidance they provide. We appreciate their continued support, as well as the support of the Casper community.
