Hickory House Nursing Home in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.


The rating system for CMS is designed to help people choose the best care for loved ones. The ratings are based on associates, health inspections and quality measures such as weight loss, falls and pain management.


“I am very proud of the entire Hickory House team,” said Jason Auge, executive director. “It is very rewarding to see the team’s hard work and perseverance pay off. Everyone here is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and clinical care, as our motto says, Whatever It Takes And Then Some! I congratulate the Hickory House team on receiving this well-deserved designation!”


The rating was based on data collected through Dec. 31, 2018.
