On Oct. 12, 2018, Life Care Center of Plano, Texas, held a Fall Festival for the community.
More than 100 people attended the event, including residents and their families, associates and their families and other community members.
Seven vendors participated, and the event included a petting zoo, face painting, balloon twisting, a photo booth, a nacho bar, chili hot dogs, cupcakes and hot apple cider. The local fire department brought one of its trucks for guests to take pictures with and climb inside of. Attendees also visited vendor tables where they were given raffle tickets for a chance to win prize baskets with themes including movie night, Starbucks, fall decorations and Coca Cola.
“All the animals were adorable,” said resident Judith Parkinson.
Fellow resident Dorothy Edwards added, “My favorite was the pot-bellied pig.”
