After a fracture of the left femur, Irene Osborn had difficulty walking, balancing and transferring.

Osborn also could not complete certain activites of daily living, like bathing and dressing, without assistance.

Osborn came to Marysville Care Center in Marysville, Washington, on March 29, 2019 for rehabilitation.

Physical and occupational therapists worked with Osborn to improve her condition. Physical therapists used strenghtening exercises and equipment to help improve her mobility and balance, while occupational therapists helped Osborn regain her ability to perform everyday tasks with independence.

Osborn completed therapy on May 15, 2019. Upon completion, she had regained her balance, and her mobility had vastly improved. She was also able to complete most of her activites of daily living with independence, requiring only supervision for others.

Osborn was satisfied with her time at Marysville Care Center.

Of the therapists, Osborne said, “Great guys and very helpful. They all knew what they were doing, and were very knowledgable. I am glad I did it.”
