Wooldridge Place Nursing Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, recently finished its annual health survey with no deficiencies.

To pass the state survey each year, nursing facilities must meet hundreds of criteria. The survey focuses on a wide variety of care areas in the facility, including nursing care, patients’ rights, safety, food services and administration. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care and interviewing residents and associates.

“The staff worked really hard to achieve these results,” said Jim Saldivar, executive director. “It was a group effort.”

Surveyors completed their visit to Wooldridge Place on July 11, and the facility received the results on July 25, 2019.
