Occupational therapy focuses on daily living activities to restore independence. These focus on everyday tasks (such as dressing, bathing and eating) as well as household management, meal planning and community interaction.

Occupational therapy may include:

Retraining in activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, toileting, bathing and home management
Upper extremity coordination and fine motor retraining
