Meet Our New Leaders in Care

At Life Care Centers of America, we know that great leaders help people do great things. And that’s why we are proud of the administrators we have chosen to lead our facility teams as they care for and serve our patients, residents, and families.

Below are a few Executive Directors who have recently joined the Life Care family to lead, inspire, and change lives!

Johnny Cerino, Executive Director at Life Care Center of Hixson

Johnny has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Adventist University and earned his NHA license after completing an administrator-in-training program at Life Care Center of Ooltewah. In April, he began serving as assistant executive director at Life Care Center of Charleston, South Carolina, before he was promoted to lead our center in July.

When asked about his experience at our center so far, Johnny praised our staff.

“I have worked with this team in the past, and everyone is just as kind now as they were then,” he said. “I definitely missed the residents, and it’s a true honor to sit in this seat and serve and advocate for them from this position.”

Johnny enjoys getting to know residents, family members and staff, and he is enthusiastic about the future of the center.

“I am very excited about the future at Life Care Center of Hixson,” he said. “I am happy to be leading this amazing team, and I am looking forward to serving our residents and families as well as the Hixson community.”

Sarah Ostrow, Executive Director at Life Care Center of Inverrary

Sarah comes to our center with 18 years of experience working in senior living. She has a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and has been a licensed administrator in multiple states for more than 10 years. She served as a traveling administrator before accepting a position to lead our center on July 15.

“The team at Life Care Center at Inverrary has been so warm and welcoming,” Sarah said about her experience at the center so far. “I’ve enjoyed meeting the smiling faces of the many tenured associates and gathering with residents for root beer floats at the meet and greet. I’m so excited to lead such a lovely community.”

Sarah has a passion for working with others, and she enjoys leading a team and seeing her work pay off in residents’ satisfaction and positive experiences.

When asked about the future of the center and her goals, Sarah expressed excitement.

“Life Care Center at Inverrary is a well-established and beautiful community with incredibly talented staff,” she said. “I look forward to continuing to promote our services to new residents and partners in the community while leading this incredible team to new achievements.”

Kimberly Trotta, Executive Director at North Glendale

Kimberly comes to our center with more than 24 years of experience in long-term and skilled nursing care. Most recently, she was regional compliance administrator and deputy director for the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services.

“I have always enjoyed helping others, so when I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in social work, I started working as a social worker within a skilled nursing and long-term care facility,” Trotta said. “I quickly realized this was my passion.

“I loved helping our residents rehab and discharge back into the community as well as spending time and socializing with our long-term residents and their families. Eventually, I discovered that I enjoyed managing teams of people and helping them achieve their goals, and the rest is history.”

When asked about her experience at the center so far, Trotta praised our staff and residents for showing a welcoming spirit and for helping make her adjustment smooth. She also expressed excitement about the future.

“We have a great facility and team, and I want to remind the community that we are here to assist them with their rehabilitation needs,” she said. “I am very excited to be here, and I can’t wait to see what our future holds.”
