Life Care residents share advice with the Class of 2021

Life Care residents are bastions of wisdom. Since it’s graduation season, we asked our residents to share their advice with the Class of 2021. Here are some of their most unique answers.

“Do what you say, and say what you will do. Find a job that is of interest to you, and work hard!”

F.P., Life Care Center of Red Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee

“Go to school after you get out of high school so you can make the big bucks. Everyone likes when you go further on in school.”

B.S., Life Care Center of Centerville, Tennessee

“Have fun, but don’t make dumb mistakes. Plan everything out, and don’t rush anything.”

D.I., Life Care Center of Hendersonville, North Carolina

“Say a lot of prayers for yourself and your loved ones. Remember to stay six feet apart because this pandemic is still here. And don’t forget to wear your mask!”

H.D., Alameda Oaks Nursing Center in Corpus Christi, Texas

“When you’re working, spend wisely and save. Don’t buy a luxury car unless you have the income to support yourself.”

R.L., Garden Terrace at Fort Worth

“Go to college, and don’t join the party crowd. Be there for people, and do the right thing.”

B.G., Life Care Center of New Port Richey, Florida

“Always be kind.”

D.W., Life Care Center of Gray, Tennessee

“Keep God first in all you do, and He will direct your paths.”

T.T., Life Care Center of New Port Richey, Florida

“Listen to people who have been through this before. They might seem like they are nagging, but they made it through with tips from those before, and you can too!”

J.L., Life Care Center of Blount County in Louisville, Tennessee

“Always try to finish what you started. Don’t try to change what you want to do for anyone’s approval or satisfaction. Stick to what your heart wants.”

M.F., Alameda Oaks Nursing Center in Corpus Christi, Texas

“Travel somewhere new, and find yourself a job. Stay single. Enjoy life while you can.”

L.C., Life Care Center of Leominster, Massachusetts

“You gotta have a dream and follow through with it all through life. Do your best. The tougher it is, the more it will benefit you in the end.”

N.C., Life Care Center of Altamonte Springs, Florida

“Have fun while you are still young, and make lots of memories. School will be one of the most important things you will do, and no one can ever take that away from you.”

C.W., Life Care Center of Centerville, Tennessee

“Make a lot of money, and don’t get fat.”

G.W., Life Care Center of Hendersonville, North Carolina

“Stay away from drugs – they will ruin your life.”

F.A., Life Care Center of Red Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee

“Think over decisions you make. Pray about everything. Look on both sides of all your decisions.”

A.C., Garden Terrace at Fort Worth

“Use everything you have learned thus far. Continue your education. Thank your teachers.”

E.L., Life Care Center of Leominster, Massachusetts

“Don’t take anything for granted. Earn your keep on what you learned from somebody else.”

B.S., Life Care Center of Hendersonville, North Carolina

“Get involved in government and politics so that you can have a say in the direction of your future.”

M.B., Life Care Center of Altamonte Springs, Florida

“Go on your simple way always. Love everyone, and be nice. Take care of yourself and others in need.”

L.M., Garden Terrace at Fort Worth

“You have to think like an adult now. You cannot just drop everything for a beach trip, unless you have your affairs in order.”

M.P., Life Care Center of Blount County in Louisville, Tennessee

“Enjoy your youth because you won’t have it forever. Don’t do anything you can’t repent of, and always stay humble.”

R.L., Alameda Oaks Nursing Center in Corpus Christi, Texas

“Keep studying and learning. Don’t fall in love too quickly. Always work hard and be a good person. Put a little more love in your heart for people. Don’t run away too far.”

D.G., Life Care Center of Leominster, Massachusetts
