Life Care Community Happenings for August 2026

Each month, our facilities and communities host many fun and exciting events that engage and uplift our residents

We love to showcase these events because they represent an often-overlooked aspect of care––fun! Staying active, engaging with others, and having fun all carry great benefits for body, mind, and spirit. And our residents are getting healthy doses of all three.

Shark Week Fun at Green Valley Care Center

Residents and staff at Green Valley Care Center dived into fun-infested waters!

To celebrate the beloved Shark Week, they enjoyed fin-tastic activities together and cozying up to a few (friendly) land sharks.

Lemonade Stand at Life Care Center of Hilton Head

You can’t let summer slip by without stopping by a good, old-fashioned lemonade stand! 

Thanks to some community partners, staff, and resident family members, the residents at Life Care Center of Hilton Head enjoyed sweet, refreshing lemonade together.

Making Greek Salad at The Bridge at Paradise Valley

Residents at The Bridge at Paradise Valley combined their culinary skills to create a fresh, colorful, healthy, and delicious Greek couscous salad.

Solar Eclipse at Life Care Center of Stoneham

Life Care Center of Stoneham found itself in the path of a partial solar eclipse! The residents and staff threw on some viewing glasses and gathered outside to watch the rare and spectacular event.

Beachin’ Beach Day at Remington Heights

Remington Heights didn’t have to go far for an unforgettable summer vacation.

Wearing their resort attire, residents and their families enjoyed a delicious buffet, refreshing drinks, and bright, summery décor.
