Lori Whitney has been appointed vice president of Life Care Centers of America’s Mountain States Division.
In this position, Lori oversees 37 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Colorado, Hawaii, Texas and Wyoming.
Since 2015, Lori has served as Life Care’s Mountain States senior division rehab director. Prior to that, she spent 13 years serving in various post-acute health care leadership roles, a time during which her talents were repeatedly recognized and rewarded with increased responsibilities. Lori also had a stint with Life Care early in her career, serving as a physical therapist at a local facility.
“Lori has shown a passion for the residents we serve and our associates,” said Todd Fletcher, Life Care’s president. “She is always thinking forward and moving forward. Her tenacious spirit drives everything she does and empowers those around her to reach their fullest potential. We are excited about the future under her leadership.”

Lori earned her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the University of the Philippines, and she holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Denver.
She and her husband, Brian, live on the east side of Denver.
