Alice Smith: Recovering from a Femur Fracture

Alice was admitted to Life Care Center of Idaho Falls after falling on ice. The fall resulted in a left femur fracture, left wrist fracture, and additional medical issues.

Despite needing maximal assistance with bed transfers, dressing, and bathing, and being completely non-weight bearing on her left side, Alice participated in physical and occupational therapies with eagerness and confidence.

Through her dedication and careful adherence to her customized therapy program, Alice met her goals and regained her strength and ability.

“The care here has been wonderful. The staff were so good to me," Alice said.

After a long road to recovery, Alice discharged back home to live independently.

The rehabilitation team at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls would like to congratulate Alice on her success and wish her the best in her future.
