Jay Beaudoin named vice president of Life Care’s Mountain States Division

Jay Beaudoin has been appointed vice president of Life Care Centers of America’s Mountain States Division.

In this position, Jay oversees 31 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Colorado, Hawaii, Utah and Wyoming.

Most recently, Jay served as vice president of focus initiatives for Life Care. He has more than 21 years of experience in long-term care, starting as a part-time activities assistant. He has worked for Life Care for six and a half years now, including as vice president of the Pikes Peak Region, one of four regions in the Mountain States Division.

“Jay has shown a passion for the residents we serve and our associates as well,” said Todd Fletcher, Life Care’s president. “I have had the privilege of working with Jay for several years, and I know he is an excellent mentor and teacher to many. He is a great fit for this role, and we are excited about the future under his leadership.”

Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Jay earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and in finance from Florida State University. He worked in banking before changing careers to join the health care field.

“My passion is making a difference in people’s lives,” Jay said. “At the divisional level, I have the opportunity to touch more lives, and I get to focus my energy on the community where I live. I’m excited to take on this new role.”

Jay currently resides in Woodland Park but is relocating to the Aurora area with his wife, Jennifer. He also has a grown son. Outside of work, Jay loves to mountain climb and recently summited Denali in Alaska.
