Each month, our facilities host many fun, exciting, and beneficial events that engage and uplift our residents and serve the community.
We love to showcase these events because they represent an oft overlooked aspect of care––fun! Staying active, engaging with others, and having fun all carry great benefits for body, mind, and spirit. And our residents are getting healthy doses of all three.
Below are some recent events and activities hosted by our facilities across the U.S.
Residents and staff at Life Care Center of Crossville rung in the new year with a fun-filled New Year’s Eve party. Based on their smiles, these residents are ready for another fun-filled year!
There’s always a reason to celebrate, and the staff and residents at Treasure Valley celebrated National Bean Day by throwing a build-your-own chili dog party! Don’t those chili dogs look delicious?
Many facilities hold monthly activities that residents can look forward to. Life Care Seneca recently started Karaoke with Linda, a monthly event where residents can hear their favorite songs performed live, and even sing themselves if they so desire!
Did you know the author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was born in the month of January? The Highlands did, so they decided to celebrate with a Mad Hatter Tea Party! Residents and staff enjoyed tea, snacks, flamingo golf, and more.
Life Care Pensacola’s therapy department asked some of the residents about their New Year’s resolutions. Most of them were concerned about organization, memory, and reducing their risk for falls. So, they all took part in organization and sorting activities while increasing their standing endurance!
Cleveland Art Studio stopped by Life Care Medina to help patients create some beautiful paintings!
