Committed to Care: Whatever It Takes Winners Aug. 2024

Life Care Centers of America's Whatever it Takes Champions program honors associates who go beyond their job descriptions in caring for our patients, residents, and their families. Here are four of our recent winners and their inspiring stories. These associates are certainly Champions of Care!

Adriell Tobias, Physical Therapist at Life Care Center of Port Townsend

We have had many patients and residents receive physical therapy while facing particularly challenging recoveries. But many of them have said they have enjoyed working with Adriell. She is patient, caring, and brings them hope while they pursue recovery.

Thanks for being a source of support and hope for our patients and residents, Adriell!

Abigail DuBard, Medical Records Assistant at Life Care Center of East Ridge

When Abigail arrived at work one day, she noticed that trash littered the parking lot. Garbage collectors had just been by, so a trash bag must have fallen out of the truck as it was gathering garbage from the dumpster. Instead of ignoring the issue, Abigail went inside and grabbed trash bags and gloves and began picking up the trash herself!

Thanks, Abigail, for stepping in to help keep our facility (and city) beautiful!

Life Care Center of East Ridge

Chardan Villeza, Accounts Receivable Clerk at Life Care Center of Hilo

Chardan recently volunteered during a facility rummage sale, and, according to her colleagues, went above and beyond in her effort to help the facility raise money. She spent hours off the clock coordinating aspects of the event, from food and music to sales.

Thanks, Chardan, for your devotion to helping our facility be the best it can be for our residents and patients!

Life Care Center of Hilo

Lexie Reyes, Receptionist at Life Care Center of Skagit Valley

Lexie has wowed her colleagues, patients, and residents with her compassion, charm, and willingness to serve. She pays attention to the small details and has been called a great asset to the facility.

Thanks for doing whatever it takes to serve, Lexie!
