Life Care Center of Omaha

I was delivering a lunch to an employee of Life Care Center. The walkway to the entrance had a raised block of concrete. I, unfortunately, tripped in this lip and went face first into the brick building, bounced off onto the concrete floor. I was unconcious for about 30 seconds or so. I immediately told the staff, so that maybe they could put a sign or cone in that area. I went to the ER and was found to have a concussion and many bruises, also my orbital area was badly bruised. Life Care Center refuses to answer my calls, after they already told me that they would pay the medical bills. I, also, work in the medical field and I care about the patients I work on and also care about people in general. Mr. Peter Stygar clearly only cares about the bottom dollar. I would never want Mr.Stygar or anyone at this facility take care of me or any one I know and love. I am starting a job next week at a very large hospital system here, and since my eye is still black, it has been 2 weeks) I will explain what happened and how I was treated. Before you decide to bring your loved one here, please get on PROPUBLICA website. It will show you all their deficiency’s and fines. It shows who they really are. Carol

Friendly staff

My review has absolutely no reflection on the staff. The staff are ALL amazing people for all they do! All nice, and all love our family who are there. The facility is horrible! What I mean by horrible is dingy, and not homey. More like an asylum. The Elkhorn facility is way more homey. It definitely needs some major updating.
