Statement from Berkley Manor Care Center regarding COVID-19

Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Denver, CO

Updated: Monday, January 11, 12:10 p.m. MST

At Berkley Manor Care Center, the safety and well-being of our residents is our highest priority. The safety and well-being of our associates and our community are also paramount considerations in every action we take.

Here are our current COVID-19 case totals:

  • Residents: 3
  • Associates: 2

Any positive residents are isolated in our building, and any positive associates will quarantine at home and will not return to work until CDC requirements for returning to work are met. All residents and staff members are being tested twice per week. Any positive results will be reported appropriately to residents, staff, responsible parties and health agencies.

We have been and will continue to follow all CMS, CDC and state and local health department guidelines concerning COVID-19. These guidelines include restrictions on the entrance of visitors, family members and vendors. Associates are also screened when they arrive for work and when they leave.

We are staying in consistent communication with the families of our residents. We always welcome their questions and contact. Even though visitation remains restricted, we’re happy to coordinate phone calls, video chats or window visits.

We will continue to work in close partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment and will follow their guidance as provided. Both the state and local health departments have been extremely supportive. We are thankful for their partnership and support. We are also grateful for the outpouring of love we’ve received from the local community.
