Updated: Thursday, July 15, 5:55 MDT

At Life Care Center of Colorado Springs, caring for and protecting our residents is - and always has been - our priority.

On July 6, we had a patient test positive for COVID-19. The patient was a recent admission to our facility and was already under quarantine, per our protocol for new admissions.

Since July 6, we have received two rounds of negative test results. Thankfully, we are resuming the following:

Visitation

  • Open (unscheduled) visitation for all vaccinated patients/residents with vaccinated visitors. (Proof must be provided.)
  • Scheduled visitation for any combination of unvaccinated patient/resident and/or unvaccinated visitor. (Or if unable to provide proof of vaccination at time of visitation.)

Dining

Service in dining rooms resumes.

Activities

Group activities and outings resume.

Unvaccinated residents will be tested twice per week.
