Statement from Life Care Center of Colorado Springs regarding COVID-19

As of the morning of Jan. 17, here is the latest regarding COVID-19 in our facility:

Residents

  • Cumulatively, 33 residents have recently tested positive.
  • All of these residents have fully recovered.

Staff

  • Cumulatively, 34 staff members have recently tested positive.
  • 27 of those staff members have fully recovered.
  • 7 of those staff members are still in isolation at home. They will not return to work until they have fully recovered, according to Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment guidelines.

Indoor visitation is still open.

We will continue to follow all CMS, CDC and state and local health department guidelines concerning COVID-19. We appreciate their continued support, as well as the support of our resident families and the Colorado Springs community.
