Statement from Heritage Park Care Center regarding COVID-19

Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Carbondale, CO

Updated: Tuesday, June 2, 8:15 p.m. MDT

On Friday, May 29, Heritage Park Care Center received facility-wide COVID-19 testing from the National Guard.

The experience on Friday with the National Guard was incredible. They are professional and courteous and knew just how to put our residents and staff at ease. We thank them for their service and kindness; we’re honored to have hosted them.

On Monday, June 1, we received results from 115 resident and associate tests. We are thankful to share that all residents tested negative and only one associate tested positive. This associate is not working and will only return to work once strict guidelines from the CDC are met.

We understand that the virus is still a very real problem for our country, and we remain vigilant to the threat. Our residents will continue to be monitored multiple times per day and night for any symptoms or concerns. We stand united with the healthcare workers across America as well all face this virus.
