Statement from Life Care Center of Westminster regarding COVID-19

Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Westminster, CO

Updated: Friday, January 15, 2:30 p.m. MDT

At Life Care Center of Westminster, the safety of our residents and peace of mind for our families and loved ones are our highest priorities.

We had two more residents test positive for COVID-19 this week for a total of four residents who have tested positive.

We are sad to report that one of these residents has passed away. Our deepest condolences go out to their family and friends.

We have one associate who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier who is still out recovering.

We have appropriately notified and communicated with the state health department, resident responsible parties and staff members. We will continue this open communication.

All associates and residents are being tested twice a week. Our residents are also monitored multiple times day and night for any symptoms or concerns. Every associate is also screened when they arrive for work and when they leave, including checking temperature and monitoring for any symptoms or concerns.

We had our first round of vaccinations on Dec. 28 and continue to follow all CMS, CDC and state and local health department guidelines concerning COVID-19. Visitation is currently restricted.

We continue to work in partnership with the Colorado Department of Health and the local health department and will follow the guidance they provide. We appreciate their continued support, as well as the support of the local community.
