Our associates and residents are safe and comfortable in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. As Florida recovers from the effects of the storm, we remain in close communication with local and state government emergency response personnel and attending physicians and will continue to follow their guidance.
As always, our residents are our highest priority, and the situation is being closely monitored on both the local and corporate level to ensure the safety and well-being of every resident we serve. We are also doing everything we can to ensure their comfort and peace of mind.
Our team will continue to coordinate efforts with local authorities, transportation and utility partners and communicate our plans to family members, to keep them informed.
We are grateful for the compassion and professionalism displayed by our staff during and after the hurricane, as they've focused on ensuring our residents stay calm and comfortable. We are also thankful for the local authorities — including our local police and fire departments. We appreciate their bravery and expertise through the storm and everything they continue to do to protect our residents and associates and to keep our community safe.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with our associates and residents — and with recovery efforts throughout the state of Florida — as we deal with the effects of Hurricane Ian.
