Communicating with Residents
FaceTime – This facility has iPads available. You can schedule a time with Social Services or Activities.
Window Visits – You can see your loved one through their room window. If their room is not near a window, then we will move them to a window where you can see them. Please make sure the window stays closed. You may want to use your cell phone to call into your loved one's room phone.
Conference Call – We can do Care Conferences via telephone.
Unfortunately, we are not allowing any in-person visitations at this time to protect our residents. (EXCEPTION: Residents who are actively dying may be approved for visits by our medical director, Dr. Burgstahler, for immediate family and/or the Power of Attorney (POA). These visits will be one person at a time, for 30 minutes, and the visitor must be screened by staff for COVID-19 symptoms, wear a mask while in the facility, and be escorted to and from the resident’s room by staff. Each visitor will be limited to one visit per day. No visitors under age 18 will be allowed.)
We are monitoring all residents for signs and symptoms each shift.
All staff are screened for respiratory symptoms prior to entering the facility.
All residents are staying on their perspective halls, regardless if they are positive or negative with COVID-19.
WE ARE IN PHASE 3 of the Governor's re-opening plan! Group activities and meals are conducted under social distancing guidelines.
Masks are worn by staff at all times when in the facility.
Face shield, gown and gloves are worn when they are in a resident's room if that resident is positive or has signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
