Each month, our facilities and communities host many fun and exciting events that engage and uplift our residents.
We love to showcase these events because they represent an often-overlooked aspect of care––fun! Staying active, engaging with others, and having fun all carry great benefits for body, mind, and spirit. And our residents are getting healthy doses of all three.
Below are some recent events and activities hosted by our communities across the U.S.

Residents and staff at Life Care Center of Pensacola enjoyed lovely weather, great company, and spectacular cars at their annual car show! Monster Cone Pensacola rolled out to keep everyone cool with their delicious ice cream, and Tyler Lemmon was named this year’s Showstopper with his stunning Chevy Camaro!

If you can’t wear it, is it really art? Residents at Evergreen House Health Center were too busy creating tie-dye masterpieces to answer that question.
A little twisting, folding, and scrunching––with a few drops of color–– produced an array of tee shirts boasting bright kaleidoscope graphics. Look at those eye-popping designs!

Cinco de Mayo at The Bridge at Orlando was a day of delicious food, festive energy, joyful connection.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, residents at The Lane House gathered for an elegant tea party with lovely decorations and sweet treats.

Residents at Mitchell Manor got their hands dirty as they planted flowers and vegetables in their raised gardens. We can’t wait to see how the gardens fill out! But it’s clear that fun and fellowship are already in full bloom this year.

As part of their National Skilled Nursing Care Week festivities, residents and staff at Life Care Center of Burlington enjoyed an enchanting fairy garden party. With whimsical decorations, tasty treats, and fun photo shoots, we are pretty sure everyone had a fairy good time.
