Statement from Life Care Centers of America regarding COVID-19

Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Spokane, WA

Updated: Tuesday, March 3, 8:30 a.m. PST

At Life Care Centers of America, residents are our highest priority.

One of our facilities, Life Care Center of Kirkland, Washington, had residents sent to Evergreen Hospital, where the hospital confirmed cases of COVID-19. Additionally, one associate went to Overlake Hospital, which also confirmed COVID-19.

Corporate and local leadership has been working closely with the CDC and the Washington State Health Department during this event. This is an evolving situation, and we will continue to seek the guidance of these advising agencies.

Life Care Centers of America has been in consistent communication with leadership at its 207 other facilities to share updates and best practices that are being learned and implemented as necessary. COVID-19 facts have also been communicated with associates across the nation to encourage the dissemination of accurate information.

We would like to acknowledge how dedicated our associates have been throughout this entire situation as they continue to focus on resident care.

Vice President of Western Operations, Life Care Centers of America
