Life Care Center of Andover

The folks here actually care. I’ve never seen or heard an unkind thing from the staff even when they were the ones being hit or attacked. They treat my dad with care and love. When I can’t make it out for a few days due to a cold, etc., they make sure he understands he hasn’t been deserted. He’s encouraged to stay active. His dementia is dealt with better than I could at this stage. The food is good, he really enjoys it and thinks the variety is just right. When he’s fallen or has an emergency, I’m called immediately and they always reassure me that he’s ok before they tell me what happened. Medicaid has been a struggle but they are right on top of things and kind about the delays. Gosh, what else - his room is cleaned but not to the point they are bothering him constantly. Oh, and the activities team does a great job with fun things for the residents - making soup together, movies, water balloon fights, watching the eclipse together - and there are family events like the Thanksgiving dinner that were well organized and well done. We have to drive from College Hill to visit but it’s well worth it for the care he receives.

I would appreciate it if you would put signage up on how to enter and exit the building. There is no one at the front desk to help.

Fantastic facility!! I have been very impressed from the very first phone call. The day I went and toured the facility, staff was friendly and welcoming! The facility is clean and updated! Jennie, you did a fantastic job, I asked a million questions and you answered every one of them! Jennie was able to get our family member moved quickly and efficiently to Life Care Center of Andover. They also started pt on our friend within a week of arriving to the facility. The previous nursing home had let him lay in a bed for two years with basically no pt after his stroke… I’m so thankful for LCCA, you are making a difference in people’s lives!!! ❤️❤️👏👏

My experience was superb with Renata and Kari. They were fantastic in helping me achieve all the goals necessary to complete my rehab from a total knee replacement. They were professional, capable, and very personable and pushed me through the pain with encouragement and understanding of the difficulty of the task involved. I would highly recommend their facility and therapists for any needed rehab. Russell Armstrong

Jennie at life care was very kind and knowledgeable in helping me with information about placement for my family member who had a massive stroke she’s has a great understanding of what needs to be done when dealing with the insurance/ Medicare doing this very difficult time thanks for your support and kindness you are appreciated
