Each month, our facilities and communities host many fun, exciting, and beneficial events that engage and uplift our residents.
We love to showcase these events because they represent an often-overlooked aspect of care––fun! Staying active, engaging with others, and having fun all carry great benefits for body, mind, and spirit. And our residents are getting healthy doses of all three.
Below are some recent events and activities hosted by our communities across the U.S.
Residents at The Bridge at Farmington got the chance to express themselves in a special way while connecting with each other and their environment.
The activity is called Where Flowers Speak Without Words and involved two segments. The first segment was Moments of Stillness, where residents paused to observe their environment and notice something they hadn’t before. The second was Unspoken Words, where residents thought of something they wanted to tell someone but never got the chance.
Both segments inspired the residents to create unique, thoughtful, and beautiful paintings and helped them achieve a sense of balance and calm.
Some special visitors showed up to Life Care Center of Palm Bay on Easter Sunday!
Residents and associates got to shmooze with the Easter Bunny and his trusty carrot and Easter egg entourage.
Here’s a little secret, the Bunny was actually Director of Maintenance David Olmos, the egg was Division Director of Talent Acquisition Nicki Olmos, and the carrot was Executive Director Will Tarbet!
Kudos to those leaders for bringing their energy, talent, and cheer to the facility to help our residents have a wonderful Easter.
It was a “flutterly” magical day for the residents at Western Hills Health Care Center!
They enjoyed a wonderful outing to the nearby Butterfly Pavilion, where they observed an assortment of spectacular butterflies and beautiful plants.
There are many ways to celebrate a spring holiday, but a fish fry is definitely high on the list!
Residents at Garden Terrace at Houston celebrated Easter with an outdoor fish fry. We bet it was delicious.
To celebrate the 2026 Masters Tournament, staff and residents at The Woodlands enjoyed snacks, mocktails, and a little indoor mini golf!
We are sure the event was a whole (in one) lot of fun!
