Each month, our facilities and communities host many fun, exciting, and beneficial events that engage and uplift our residents.
We love to showcase these events because they represent an often-overlooked aspect of care––fun! Staying active, engaging with others, and having fun all carry great benefits for body, mind, and spirit. And our residents are getting healthy doses of all three.
Below are some recent events and activities hosted by our communities across the U.S.

The Quail Ridge Crochet and Knitting Club had another wonderful meet-up recently! Everyone chatted and laughed together as they worked on their latest projects. If you’re in the area and love to crochet, or have always wanted to learn how, this fun and welcoming group would love to have you.
Drop by on a Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and get ready to create something beautiful!

The salon pros at Life Care Center of Seneca used their talents to get the residents Valentine’s Day-ready with some beautifully painted nails.
The ladies loved flaunting those gorgeous designs!

For National Homemade Soup Day, Wooldridge Place Nursing Center residents celebrated with a delicious bowl of sopa de fideo, a traditional Mexican noodle soup, prepared by the facility chef, Pricilla.
The soup was served with rice and charro beans. Who’s ready for a bowl?

Bourbon Street’s got nothing on Life Care Center of Crossville! Residents had a blast at their Mardis Gras party, with colorful decorations, delicious king cake, and lots of singing and dancing.
Looks like everyone had a ball on Mardis Gras!

Residents at Life Care Center of Plymouth wanted to enjoy the winter weather while staying cozy and warm, so they brought the snow inside! While enjoying cups of hot cocoa, they sculpted adorable snowmen, dogs, and snowballs, all in the warmth and comfort of the activity room.

Life Care Center of Gray recently welcomed the Tiny Miracles Kitten Rescue for a fun, friendly, and therapeutic visit. The residents relished their time with the sweet, playful cats and kittens, getting big doses of smiles, laughter, and joy.
