Life Care Center of Gwinnett earns deficiency-free surveys

Life Care Center of Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Georgia, recently earned a deficiency-free annual health survey and a deficiency-free life safety survey.

The state health survey is an inspection focusing on a wide variety of care areas in the facility, including nursing care, patients’ rights, safety, food services and administration. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care, and interviewing residents and associates. The life safety survey addresses the physical plant.

“We are thankful to God for blessing our efforts in caring for our residents,” said Brandy Treadway, director of nursing. “It takes a team to accomplish something like this, and we are blessed with wonderful staff members. Their daily dedication to our mission of quality care is what makes us successful.”
