Life Care Center of Haltom, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, recently achieved a deficiency-free state survey.
To pass the state survey each year, nursing facilities must meet hundreds of criteria. These address not only nursing care and resident safety, but also patient’s rights, food services and administration. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care and interviewing residents and associates.
“I am so honored and proud to work with individuals who are committed to serving and working to provide top notch care to our residents,” said Phoebe Were, executive director. “I’m grateful our survey results reflect their work towards excellence.”
Life Care operates or manages more than 200 skilled nursing, rehabilitation, Alzheimer's and senior living campuses in 27 states.
