You may associate a petting zoo with a children’s birthday party, but bringing animals to a 103rd birthday party can be just as fun!
On March 14, 2022, Life Care Center of Rochester, Indiana, threw a 103rd birthday party for resident Frances Williams. The facility provided ice cream sundaes for Frances, her family members and the other residents. But the highlight of the party by far was the animals visiting from Little Blitz Farm – an alpaca, a miniature pony and a goat. Frances is particularly fond of animals and enjoyed the chance to pet them.
Born on March 24, 1914, in Bourbon, Indiana, Frances married Howard Williams and had three children – one son and two daughters. The family has grown to include five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Frances worked as a realtor in her younger years and was a senior regent for the Loyal Order of Moose fraternity and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She attended Grace Methodist Church. She loved enjoying family dinners with her children and grandchildren.
Frances shared, “I have lived so long because of the love and support of my family.”
