On Dec. 16-17, 2020, Stoneham, Massachusetts, got its first winter snowstorm of the season.
The storm dropped about 12-15 inches of snow!
The associates thought it would be a great opportunity for residents to reminisce about making snowmen. But the activities department went a step further and brought in some snow for residents to relive the cherished winter activity in the present.
Luise Iannaco, a resident whose hobby is clipping coupons, joined Angela Sellon, an activity assistant, in having fun making a snowman.
“It reminds me of childhood, but is this real snow?” asked Luise.
She only believed when the Ngozi Amadi, activity director, took her to the window to see the mounds of snow.
