Mr. Lowe was admitted to Life Care Center of Collegedale after a hospital stay. He had experienced a fall going down steps, fracturing his tibia, and was ordered to have surgery and avoid putting any weight on his lower leg.

When Mr. Lowe came to us, he was dependent with all functional skills and was unable to sustain weight on his affected leg.

Mr. Lowe received physical, occupational and speech therapies five days a week to address the functionality he lost after the fall and surgery. Each therapy discipline focused on increasing Mr. Lowe's skills for achieving all self-care and mobility so he could return home.

He and his wife were both very appreciative of our facility and all we did to assist in his return home.

Mr. Lowe returned home with his wife after meeting his therapy goals and was able to independently manage his mobility. Mr. Lowe needed some assist with bathing, but was independent with all other areas of self-care.

We enjoyed having Mr. Lowe as a patient are proud of what he has accomplished. Congratulations, Mr. Lowe!
