We love celebrating our residents any way we can, and resident birthdays are especially important to us. But when a resident reaches a very special birthday milestone –– age 100 and beyond –– we get extra excited!
Below are a few of our residents who recently celebrated their day of birth, which was more than 100 years ago!

Happy 100th Birthday to resident Harriet!
Harriet celebrated her remarkable milestone surrounded by friends and family.

Happy 100th Birthday to resident Hedy!
She enjoyed a celebration with family, friends, staff, and delicious cake.

Happy 101st Birthday to resident Win!
Anyone who has met Win has probably heard of his amazing accomplishments. The one he is most proud of is being a founder of the Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum in Oak Harbor, WA.
With the help of museum staff, The Bridge at Mount Vernon organized a special birthday surprise for Win.
Mount Vernon staff took Win on a trip to the museum. The moment they got inside, family and old friends appeared and bombarded Win with love and adoration. And they had another surprise for Win!
The staff unveiled a framed photo of him from his Navy days with a plaque dedicated to his honor. The picture will be displayed in the museum.

Happy 102nd Birthday to resident Irene!
Irene has lived an incredible life filled with love, family, faith, and many wonderful memories. She met her beloved husband after World War II and together they raised four sons. She loved listening to big band music and Frank Sinatra, whom she was fortunate enough to see in concert several times!
Irene also loved line dancing, watching old movies, and getting lost in good books. She was very active in her church and is the last living of her siblings.

Happy 103rd Birthday to resident Phyllis!
The Bridge at Ocala recently celebrated Phyllis's HUGE milestone with a festive gathering. They wanted her to know how much joy she brings to their lives every day and how much she has touched them and others.
