At Life Care Centers of America, we have the privilege of seeing hundreds of patients regain their strength and independence through our short-term therapy services every year.
And that shouldn't come as a surprise, considering the many talented therapists we have at our facilities nationwide –– and the exceptional determination of our patients!
But we always love to highlight a few of these people to inspire our teams as well as the people of our communities who may need a little inspiration and encouragement.
Below are just a few of the short-term therapy success stories we've had this year, showing once again that Champions both work and recover at Life Care!
Sharon Lardin at Camellia Gardens of Life Care
We are so proud of Sharon Lardin for completing her short-term therapy program. She worked hard to regain her independence and is now back home!
Sharon shared, "I will be forever grateful to Patrice and everyone in the therapy department for not giving up on me. I never would've made it home without them."
Dr. Ronald Nurse at Cottesmore of Life Care
Dr. Ronald Nurse came to us after a fall that resulted in a fracture. But after working hard in physical and occupational therapy, he is home again!
"All of the staff here have been amazing. My therapist, Tony, has been a real inspiration and a great friend," said Ronald.
Kenneth Bullion at Life Care Center of Bruceton-Hollow Rock
Congrats to Kenneth Bullion, who recently completed his short-term therapy program!
Kennet said, "I had a great experience with rehab. Iris, the physical therapist, and all the nurses were wonderful. Couldn't ask for better therapy or nursing care."
Helen Byon at Life Care Center of Elkhorn
Helen Byon just completed her short-term therapy program, and we couldn't be more proud of her!
Helen shared, "I enjoyed being here and being the cheerleader to encourage all the other residents to success! Everyone was very helpful in getting me back on my feet and home with my husband again!"
Paul Robinson at Life Care Center of Leominster
Congratulations to our recent therapy success patient, Paul Robinson!
Paul said, "I was half dead when I came to Life Care of Leominster. If it wasn't for Jesus Christ and the therapists, I wouldn't have gotten better. I thank God for that.”
Patricia Huffman at Life Care Center of Hickory Woods
Patricia is another recent success story who reminded us why we love what we do!
"I had given up hope of leaving this facility, but working with therapy has made me believe I can discharge to the community. Kirk and Kim really push me to succeed."
